Before becoming a freelance
writer, Alec was an engineer (M.S.E.E. from Kaunas University of Technology) and
a technical writer for high-tech international companies such as Siemens Medical

Aerospace, Becton Dickinson Diagnostic Systems, and Terumo
Medical.
In 30 years at these
companies, he has written or contributed to the writing of white papers, user’s

Although Alec worked for a few years at a major defense
company in the military aircraft division, the bulk of his writing
experience resides with the medical device manufacturers.
He has expertise in both
military standards and medical device regulations that
allows him to write technical documentation compliant with the DOD and FDA
requirements.
Alec honed his copywriting skills through training at the
American Writers and Artists Institute, private tutoring with recognized
copywriters, copywriting seminars, and books.
